What happened with Boating Suite 2.3.3

Boating Suite 2.0.3 is lacking features that were available on BS 2.3.3 like iCloud data sync.
There is lack of info explaining the reason BS 2.3.3 was discontinued and on top of this, the version of the new app is confusing...
