Boating Suite: Complete Boating Log Book App Reviews

When it comes to value for money, Boating Suite is a 5-star product. It does a competent job of creating information from data about daily log, fuel purchases, other expenses, and maintenance. The app has been very stable; it does not crash or hang like some apps do. The vessel log could be more complete (for example, it does not capture info about the generator engine, the fire extinguisher system, transmissions, windlass, etc. Export capability is basic. My single greatest wish would be for Boating Suite to work across multiple devices and sync via the cloud. Having Boating Suite installed on only one device feels vulnerable.

This is the apt I have been looking for. It provides all the boating info I could ever need in a simple, uncluttered format. Well done. The only thing I can think of to add to this apt would be Fuel and Time remaining based on average gallons per hour. All said and done, this is a great apt!!!

This app is completely useless. Unable to make a single entry without crashing. Only thing it can do is switch itself off. There needs to be negative ratings to make a proper average. Typical iphone junk.

I have two boats on Boating Suite. I can keep track of al aspects of filling on each boat. I looked all over for a log book for boating only to find them either too expensive or lacking in content. Boat Suite covers the areas needed for logging and tracking necessary information to make boating pleasurable.

This version is lacking. It does not connect to cloud, so information placed in another component such as iPhone will not transfer.

This is one of those apps where you wonder if the designers ever used it themselves. Data input is awkward and the app does not sync automatically via iCloud or other service. It can sync, but again, it’s an awkward and error-prone process. Concept is great. Design execution and testing needs professional help.

Very comprehensive information for a boat owner. Great for recording events

This is a terrific app. Just what I have been looking for! Consolidates all my logs and much more to a single place. What I like is the extensive data input and report formats. Very intuitive. The "shopping list" is a great ad on. I am very happy with this purchase.

Perfect timing for the start of New Year. Very user friendly and obviously created by a boating person. No need for multiple books to keep information on maintenance, fuel, trip logs and costs. Settings for your boat specifications. Only wish I had it sooner. Cant imagine who would not find it useful. A real bargain!

Since I own my boat, I have been for a solution like this. The interface is well designed and easy to use. It allows me store and retrieve the data that is most important for. Excellent App.

This is an extremely easy to use app which is great for tracking info about your boats, their usage and expenses. Ive been using this app (old version) for about a year now and I just love it. Its so great to have everything about your boat right at your finger tips. Its well done, have not had any technical problems at all. Kudos to Rob and his team for providing this app for us all. Best five bucks Ive ever spent! Im looking forward to seeing how it improves further, perhaps even some of the ideas Ive forwarded on to them. Every boater should get this app! GaryL.

Im not disciplined when it comes to keeping logs. BoatSuite enables me to easily update useful boating records. I held back one star, only because it is missing the following functions: 1) Need to allow multiple users to share a boats iCloud record/sync. 2) BoatSuite should work with the manufacturers so that once a boat/engines serial number is entered then maintenance schedules and data is shared between owners and manufacturers. Maybe next version?

Perfect app for the OCD small boat owner. The transfer instructions were were PERFECT! I just love this app!

App would be great and i would give 5 stars but the old app locked up on me since its last update and with iCloud on. I turned off iCloud and back on and now it appears that I lost the last 3 years of data and with iCloud back on just locks up the app again. Now I cant export the data to get it in this one. Disappointing...

This is an extremely easy to use interface. I love the features, especially the handy log and nice reporting features. It is really six apps in one, a great tool for the avid boater. I would highly recommend this app!
